So far the month of February has been wet and cold. Take a look at the calendars for temperatures and rainfall up to today’s date.
Keep in mind that some of that liquid comes from recent snow (liquid equivalent). It’s definitely been cold over the last couple of weeks. Over the weekend we had dry conditions. We hit 40 on Saturday, but it did make it into the mid-upper 40s yesterday. So there was some decent melting over the weekend.
Today we’ll have a lot more melting. High temps will make it into the 50s this afternoon.
High pressure is to our north, but it is shifting to the east.
This will let the winds turn out of the south. We’ll have dry weather for the next few days, but temps are going to bounce around quite a bit. Take a look!
While they will bounce around quite a bit. At least they will bounce around in the warmer zone. We’ll be dry through Thursday morning. Then some rain will move in later in the day. I’ll have more on that in tomorrow’s weather blog.
