The weather on Monday was just as nice as forecast. We had full sunshine, dry air, and comfortable temps.

High Temps Monday

Today we will stay dry, but we will heat up. We’ll have lots of sunshine again, but winds will pick up out of the southwest. They will run at 5-15mph. So high temps will rise to the low 80s.

Forecast Temps Today

Dew points are still mostly in the 40s with a few 50s.

Dew Points

It should be a nice day, but again…A bit warm. High pressure has moved offshore. A warm front is skirting our region.

Regional Weather Map

Starting tomorrow the humidity will increase as the warm front lifts to our north.

Muggy Meter

It will go up and stay up through Saturday. With high temps in the mid 80s tomorrow, we will be going back to that Summer-like weather.

Forecast Temps Tomorrow

There will be some isolated showers possible tomorrow along with a mix of sun and clouds. A stray shower or two may fall in the morning, but I think most of the isolated showers or storms will be later in the day. There will probably be an even higher chance for scattered showers and storms in the evening.

Future Trak Wednesday Evening

A cool front is forecast to stall out to our north between Wednesday and Thursday. This will make the forecast a bit tricky. For now I believe we’ll stay warm on Thursday with few showers possible later in the day. Highs will be in the 80s.

Temperature Trend

However, if the front stalls out a little more to the north or south, then that will change the forecast. I have highs in the mid 80s again on Friday with a few PM showers and storms, but it’s possible that the rain will wait until the early evening. I am tracking a higher chance for rain on Saturday as the models currently show.

GFS Model Saturday
European Model Saturday

The Euro is a bit later with the rain, but it does have it. Either way, I don’t currently think it will be a washout, but I have a low-confidence in the forecast for Friday and Saturday. Either way high temps will cool to the 70s as a front sinks to the south. I’ll talk more about the weekend forecast in tomorrow’s weather blog.
