Clear skies will be with us every night this week, perfect for the stargazers and those wanting to see the Planetary Parade happening this month.
Look for Mars in the western sky after Sunset. Then Jupiter will be higher in the sky. Uranus and Neptune are out, but you will need a telescope to see those two planets. Finally, Saturn and Venus are in the west. Look for Venus first, its bright! Saturn is above it, to the left slightly.
The Lunar Occultation will occur on Monday night. That is when the Moon will cover Mars for about 45 minutes in the Eastern Sky. I’ll try my best to get Telescope 10 to capture the moments, so look for images Monday during our late night newscasts.
Happy Viewing!
