Steve’s Setlist: Sizzlin’ like summer!

We’re crankin’ the heat across town! Heat index values will be climbing through the 90s for at least Friday. And of course, with summer-like temperatures and humidity, comes the threat of summer like thunderstorms.

Track 1
1,000 Julys by Third Eye Blind
It’ll feel like we’re taking a page out of July’s playbook on Friday. High temperatures will be in the low 90s with heat index values in the mid and even upper 90s at times. We should have plenty of sunshine for a good chunk of the day — but the afternoon poses another threat of some thunderstorms.

Track 2
Another One Bites The Dust by Queen
Of course, another day, another round of showers and thunderstorms. This time around, we do expect isolated activity and fast moving storms. Around the early afternoon to late afternoon there could be a cluster of storms with potentially damaging wind and heavy rain. Be sure to stay weather aware! Thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast for Saturday, too. As long as it stays pretty humid, a few afternoon thunderstorms could pop up once again.

Track 3
Better Than Before by The Werks
An approaching front will be weakening as it heads into town, but after a few after thunderstorms it’ll pull in some lower humidity. So by Sunday we expect a beautiful day with warm conditions and low humidity. Enjoy it!

It’ll stay pleasant through Monday before more rain moves in next week.
