PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – My first week as a sports intern was busy from the jump. Right after I met Sports Director Craig Loper, we went to the Coaches vs. Cancer Gala event at the Chartway Arena where I met former Old Dominion University coach Jeff Jones and the basketball legend Nancy Lieberman. After that, we went to two football games and one of them went to double overtime.
