PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Most students attending public school in the Hampton Roads region will return to school in August this year. Accomack County, Chesapeake and Isle of Wight are the only local school districts in the WAVY viewing area returning after Labor Day.
Both Norfolk and Portsmouth are returning even earlier than last year, with an Aug. 18 start date.
