CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Crews with the Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a fire at an Arby’s on Taylor Road Thursday night.
According to officials, around 10:15 p.m., crews were dispatched to the Arby’s at 2417 Taylor Road for reports of a commercial structure fire.
Upon arrival to the scene, crews found smoke around the entrance of the building.

Crews said they were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which was located behind the exterior wall in the entrance way of the business.
The restaurant had closed by the time of the fire, and two employees were able to safely evacuate prior to the arrival of fire crews.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
