HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Mango Mangeaux, a bistro operating in the Phoebus neighborhood in Hampton, has announced it is closing down.

The restaurant, which has been in operation for nearly 10 years, stated on its Facebook page that they will be closing their doors Jan. 1, 2026. They went on to thank their loyal and growing customer base, which has led to them serving almost 150,000 guests a year.

As a result, they state that some small changes will be made leading up to the closing date, including streamlining their menu and creating countdown specials each month until January. The post also mentions that Mango Mangeaux may pop up again somewhere else with new owners.

For now, they invite everyone to come visit, make new memories, and enjoy their dishes until the last moment.
