VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Six people have been injured in a crash in Virginia Beach on Thursday evening, according to police.

The Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a crash in the 600 block of Independence Boulevard at approximately 5:45 p.m.

The multiple victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment of their non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
