VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was shot early Wednesday morning on North Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach Police said.

Officers with the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to the 400 block of N. Great Neck Road at 2:09 a.m. for reports of shots fired, and found a woman who had been shot. Police are investigating the shooting.

Police say the woman’s injuries were non life-threatening.

10 On Your Side’s Keagan Hughes was at the scene Wednesday morning, when she saw several police vehicles blocking off the Renaissance Place Shopping Center parking lot. This is right off of North Great Neck Road.
