NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The UniverSoul Circus returns to Hampton Roads as the gravity-defying spectacle is set to open in Norfolk June 5-22 for its Rhythm of the World production.

The production will be held under the big top tent next to Military Circle Mall, located at 880 N. Military Hwy Norfolk.

To welcome the event back to Norfolk, UniverSoul Circus is waiving all service fees purchased on Thursday, June 5, during its “No Service Fee Thursday” promotion.

Rated as one of Ticketmaster’s “Top 10 Most Requested Family Events,” UniverSoul Circus has entertained over 25 million people with its unique blend of circus arts, theater and live music.

“Our Rhythm of the World production celebrates not only the world’s top circus performers, but also the unity of people from all walks of life. It’s a powerful reminder of the universal values of love, respect and togetherness,” said Cedric Walker, founder and CEO of UniverSoul Circus.

Opening night will feature a “City of Norfolk” themed evening, with a pre-show performance by the New Generation Marching Band at 6:30 p.m. and Mayor Kenny Alexander will be in attendance.

Ticket prices start at $25 and performance times are 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; noon, 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturdays; and noon, 3 and 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
