Feels like we’ve skipped the spring season and jumped right into summer! Between the strong sun angle, touch of humidity and temperatures in the 80s — it’s feeling more like June. This continues through at least Saturday before weekend rainfall arrives to change it all up.

Track 1
In The Evening by Led Zeppelin
Typical of summer-like warmth and humidity are those late day downpours — we can expect a few to pop-up on our Friday evening. Otherwise expect another day in the mid and upper 80s with a warm breeze.

Track 2
The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
Since our rain chances on Saturday are looking pretty slim, temperatures will rise a bit more and flirt with 90°! The big frontal system inches closer to home, but doesn’t quite make it so only an isolated shower here or there is possible. The warm southwest breeze could gust to around 25+mph for portions of the afternoon as well.

Track 3
Finally Begin by Cold War Kids
The rain finally arrives on Sunday when the trailing front from this systems drapes across the region. This will provide most of us a good chance at scattered showers and a few thunderstorms for most of the day.

So if you’ve got outdoor plans this weekend, Saturday is looking much drier compared to Sunday. The front could stall into Monday — meaning more rain is possible for portions of early next week.
