NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Parts of Naval Station Norfolk and its off-base facilities lost power early Wednesday evening, according to the base.
An original release just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday stated the issue was being promptly addressed and that the estimated timeline to make repairs would be six to eight hours.
Just after 5 a.m. on Thursday, Naval Station Norfolk announced that all power was restored at both on-base and off-base facilities.
The Navy Exchange, Commissary and Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities closed early and are expected to resume normal operations for Thursday.
