Kid Zone Playground at Lake Meade Park to close temporarily for construction

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk Parks & Recreation announced Wednesday that the Kid Zone Playground at Lake Meade Park will temporarily be closed.

Beginning Monday, March 10, the playground at Lake Meade Park will be closed to complete demolition and prepare for construction.

The small playground will be available for use once demolition is completed, which should take approximately one week.

Construction of the new playground will take several weeks. There is no exact completion date at this time.
