NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — In Newport News, get ready to celebrate health and wellness at the 4th annual Black Family Wellness Expo.

The expo is in partnership between Celebrate Healthcare and the Hampton/Newport News Chapters of Links Incorporated. At the event, the community will have the chance to celebrate health by learning and receiving health care resources available in the area, a release states. Some of the resources include blood pressure checks, educational forums, health insurance/medicaid enrollment, physical therapy, CPR training and many more.

In-person 3D Mammogram exams will also be in attendance. In order to receive an exam, make sure to RSVP, call (757)-785-4138.

Additionally, there will also be fun events for the whole family, such as prizes, line dancing, face painting and entertainment.

The event will be take place at the Downing Gross Cultural Arts Center on Saturday, March 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
