NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Lake Taylor senior guard Aaron Elliot took over the second half and scored 23 points to lead the Titans to a 55-46 win over Churchland in a big Eastern District matchup Wednesday.

Sincere Jones and the Churchland Truckers took the trip to Norfolk to play a hot Lake Taylor Titans, and poured in 25 points, nine rebounds and four steals.

Churchland led by as many as eight points in the second quarter, but Lake Taylor took over as a defensive unit in this one. That caused a ton of problems for the Truckers getting the ball over half court.

The Titans defense had eight steals and forced 18 turnovers out of Churchland while senior guard Aaron Elliot took over in the second half. Elliot finished with 23 points, and led the Titans to a 55-46 win.
