SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — In Suffolk, the city is about to get a new internet provider with the grand opening of Glo Fiber.

The Suffolk Economic Development announced in a release that a Glo Fiber store location would be arriving in Suffolk on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Glo Fiber is an internet provider company for homes and businesses. By using fiber technology, they are able to provide high speed and low latency internet access, along with phone and video services, a release states.
The company is known for its local customer service, a release states. According to its website, the store has locations all over Virginia and various states like Maryland, Delaware, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

The store will be located at 2815 Godwin Blvd., Unit I-2, with the opening ceremony beginning at 11 a.m. Suffolk Mayor Michael Duman is expected to be in attendance to cut the ribbon.
The store’s hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays. The store will also be open the first Saturday of each month, with that Wednesday being closed.
