NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — At just 16 years old, Delilah has made remarkable strides in her academic and extracurricular pursuits, completing her high school education in just three years.

Starting her journey at Warwick High School, Delilah enrolled in the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program, along with Advanced Placement (AP) classes and the Governor’s Health Science program during her first two years.

After excelling in her studies, she seized the opportunity to graduate early at the end of her sophomore year.

Currently a senior, Delilah recently received an $8,000 academic scholarship to Old Dominion University, and she has also been accepted into Christopher Newport University, where she is awaiting scholarship reviews.

In addition to her academic achievements, Delilah balances a part-time job at Chick-fil-A with running her own lash business.

She has demonstrated her leadership on the field as well, playing two years of volleyball at Warwick and now entering her third year of softball. Furthering her commitment to the community, she will also take on coaching responsibilities for a little league team this year.

Delilah’s dedication to her studies and community service has earned her membership in the National Society of High School Scholars, a recognition of her academic excellence.
