YORK-POQUOSON, Va. (WAVY) — One deputy in Grafton got to play Santa on Dec. 8 … minus the outfit, beard, sled and … you know … reindeer.
Despite missing many of Santa’s signature characteristics, he definitely captured the spirit of Christmas. After York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a citizen regarding Amazon packages in the 100 block of White Cedar Lane, it appeared the packages had been stolen and dumped in the wood line near some dumpsters, officials said.
Deputy Sheriff John Mazzucca took it upon himself to gather the packages, and hand deliver seven total packages to different addresses.
