SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person is in serious but stable condition after a single-vehicle crash in Suffolk.

It happened Monday around 5:30 p.m. on Route 58 at the Downtown exit. Suffolk Fire-Rescue says two people were in the car.

Officials said the person transported to the hospital with serious injuries had to be extricated from the vehicle. The other person is in stable condition with moderate injuries.
