PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Did you know that the first reference to a S’more was in the 1927 official Girl Scouts guidebook called, “Tramping and Trailing With The Girl Scouts?” The Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast will be celebrating National S’mores Day, Saturday, Aug. 10 in Chesapeake. Shanise Harris and Julianne Van Auken with the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast joined HRS in the kitchen and showed us how to make a S’mores pizza solar box and S’mores trail mix.
