NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Tidewater Community College Norfolk campus went into lockdown temporarily Monday afternoon.
A student reported seeing five people standing in front of the student center and said one of the individuals took a gun from their waistband.
TCC remained in lockdown while Norfolk police searched the area and interviewed the witness.
Norfolk police gave TCC the all-clear just before 1:30 p.m., but officers continued to patrol the area.
