VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Police are now investigating a shooting that took the life of a teen in Virginia Beach.
According to police, the call for the shooting came in around 9 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Carver Avenue at the Friendship Village apartments, off Birdneck Road near Virginia Beach Blvd.
A 15-year-old boy was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. On Wednesday, police say the teen was removed from life support and pronounced dead.
The case is now being investigated as a homicide.
