CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Fire Department responded to a residential fire in the Culpepper Landing neighborhood Monday morning.
According to dispatch, the fire started just after 4 a.m. in the 3200 block of Sybilla Street.
When crews got to the scene, they reported seeing the two-story home heavily involved in flames. All occupants were evacuated before crews arrived.
The fire was reported out at 4:43 a.m.
The home sustained significant damage and displaced all occupants including two adults and two children. Officials say two pet cats are believed to be missing.
