(WAVY) – The First Colonial boys and girls soccer teams both won state championships on Wednesday, along with the Nandua and Smithfield boys. The First Colonial boys defeated John Lewis 5-0 while the girls team defeated Briar Woods 3-2 in a penalty shootout.
Nandua beat Graham 6-1 at home to win their second soccer title in school history and Smithfield won 2-0 over Jefferson Forest to cap and undefeated season.
